Our first big snow

I know everyone else has already had their fill of snow, but this is my first big snow ! (only 4 inches ...lol) We've only had two dustings earlier this year with no accumulation.

awww.... I know it is novel for you, my dear, but yuk, yuk, yuk...I've come to hate the sight of it... guess what? we're supposed to have five days of above zero temps in the coming week! but we are supposed to get rain...I sure hope it doesn't pull a fast one and come down white! This time last year we were buried under five feet of it! The only consolation was that it went quickly ... we had a thaw and everything was wet...huge puddles everywhere...then it froze solid and stayed very cold for about eight days...the sidewalks were skating rinks...now we're supposed to go back to the puddles and oddly enough...I don't mind one bit! you don't have to shovel rain!

I don't know how you stand it Lori, when you move, you might want to consider going somewhere with a much warmer climate. Our warm winters would make you think you were on vacation in the tropics !

Terry and I were discussing the absurdity of going into a hinterland situation... but don't know how we'd manage to find a warmer spot ...unless we went to BC... Any houses for sale( reasonable) down in NC?
I could get serious about Arizona too!... but hubby's not ready to take a leap of faith and try something really adventurous...lol. so we'll have to learn to hibernate winters.... argh!

Tons of houses fore sale here Lori and alot of them are fantastic deals with so many foreclosures. Now finding a job is a different story, I think we have one of the highest unemployment rates in the United Sates right now...:-(
