I had a blast making it. I forgot how much fun this was, it had been 15 or more years since I'd made Brandon some dinosuars. Apparantly, the kid in me is still alive !

Thanks everyone, about 5 minutes into making it, I kept thinking to myself, " I can't believe I'm out here trying to do this ", and "glad I don't have any neighbors, they'd think I was crazy"....lol.
Sarraceniac, we call what your talking about playdough here, I remember that stuff all too well ! I used to find it smeared in the carpet, and down in the grooves of the flooring, had to get down on my hands and knees and scrape it out with a scouring brush. If I ever see that stuff again it will be too soon...lol
Bonkers this is the biggest snow we've had in a couple years, the weather forecasters are always calling for it and it never happens, so this one caught us by surprise.

Thanks Youngdaisy, I did use some miscanthus twigs for the stems, and I found an old cardboard box and cut four little circles out of it and poked a small hole thru the center of each circle and pushed them down onto the top of the twigs, so the snow flowers would have something to sit on . I had alot more fun than I should probably admit, and it brought back some really good memmories too.

oh well well done!!!
we all loved it...
my daughters asks .. how did you get the colors?

Thanks Aleyna, glad you liked it. I save a few empty pump spray bottles and put a few drops of food coloring , mixed with water in them, then you just spray it on the snow.
