No she doesn't talk Jacque. She whistles and has a lot of different sounds that let us know what she wants. Mike C

My kids would love this "pirate" (eh, Weemamabell?). She is beautiful - and a better investment than the Botanicalls (see recent blog by ukslim), which claims that plants can do same, if you are mad enough to spend money and a lot of time setting up the kit.

Oh glorious!! She's lovely! She has lots of toys too. lucky bird... so you have bird accommodations both inside and out? I have a little lovebird...and why they call them lovebirds I'd like to know!! he's a nasty little blighter..but he's mine and I've been making a special effort to gain his confidence...he's only drawn blood twice this week...lol. He loves it when I sit at the computer, he blats and whistles in the highest range he can manage and nearly drives my husband to distraction. He's only two, his name is Yoshi. (Toranaga noh Minowara) lol I had delusions of grandeur when he got his name...

She is gorgeous! I have a cockatiel (We named him Pretty Boy Floyd) that whistles the tunes from "Wizard of Oz" but has a very garbled "pretty boy" thrown in occasionally. I am sure no one else would catch it though.

My budgie Crocus is delighted I've added Red to his collection of birdie girlfriends on my photo favourites.
