i'm not sure but i think its a newt...i find lots of them under pots and things.

Yes, it does look like a newt. It's ironic...I had a California alligator lizard between my screen door and main door two days ago. These alligator lizards are not afraid of people at all, they are actually kind of cocky! Their bite is pretty painful from what I've read, however, they are not poisonous.

my newt doesent bite.....alligator lizards in the house.....i dont like the sound of that.
