I start miniatures off in my greenhouse, and only plant out when all danger of frost is passed! Prevents cracking of the tubers :)

When we did a garden at Hampton Court a few years ago, the woman next to us was building a garden from recycled things. Her path consisted of around 800 empty champagne bottles 'planted' upside down. But she only arrived with 600. On about the third day of the build, she and her husband didn't appear - we reckoned they were drinking another 200 bottles of champagne that day!

Are you incorperating these into your garden Irish?

Now, were they before you did the weeding or after? I recall when I lived on the Leinster Road there was a cinema at each end and pubs all around..... I didn't go home much. Hic.

lol the only difference now is theres no cinema on Leinster rd now
