Just be careful Gillian. We have lots of trouble over here with illegal immigrants. Check their passports, visas etc. and lock them up if they are not Kosher.

I'm more worried about mid-lawn battles and flying gnome parts!

Leave any bones and internal organs where they lie. They will make good food for the sunk.

Yes Donnah, that's Clarence the cross-eyed gnome on the swing and I think he's trouble!

What do you mean Amy. This is a serious situation, it only takes one to create anarchy among the rest. You need to nip this sort of insurgence in the bud or there could be a new world order which would not be at all pleasant for any of us. Please take the situation seriously.

Sorry Toto , I hang my head in shame .

Gillian I,m sorry for not taking this alarmimg situation seriously , I can see that the situation can quite easily get out of control .
What can be done , I don,t want you to live in a world ruled by bad tempered Gnomes , who are spoiling for fights with your friendly Hobbits , cut off their food supply Gillian , block up the tunnel under the fence . cut the swing ropes , make them want to leave !

I think we are safe as long as they have their own areas. The gnomes are near the herb patch and could snack on those, maybe also some of the slugs and snails that hang out there, hobbit hummock is attractive to worms so good food supply there too!
