This "stick" is my dormant treasure, that is just showing signs at the very tip that its coming back to life. If it does flower this year I will be over the moon . If it doesnt how much taller is it going to get?................

You said it Janey. From what I have read on them, you cant do anything until they have flowered, and then you can chop the top off for a cutting and whats left will branch out...........but its got to flower 1st.....Lol

Found this after seeing your pic of the new bud. On the principle that plants flower and try to reproduce when they feel threatened, I would say you're on to a near certainty! I don't mean to be insulting. Raising such an exotic is a real achievement.
