This was the first shrub/tree we planted when we came here. It's very slow growing, but this year it has the most flowers it has produced!

beautiful! mine that is suposed to be the white star type is just showing colour, and gues what it is pink! :-(

About right, I think - I've seen other Magnolias coming into bloom in gardens on the way into town.

I think you could be right there about cold winters, all the magnolias here are doing very well.

Can you believe it? We had a slight frost on Friday night and it has caught the edges of the flowers! :-(
