The sky was still light! This is 9pm. The color were so wonderful I had to try my hand at catching them. Only 8 hours of darkness left for the alaskan summer to swallow up.

Question GT? Is that silvery light on the clouds above the slowly disappearing sun a reflection of the full moon? I have no words, here!

The sky in spring is a deep turquoise like blue that is showing through a gap in the stratocirrus cloud. I have a clear sky photo on the phone I could load. It is a really amazing color. It was breathtaking, gave me a good training on getting night shots on my camera.

Yes..now that you mention it I see that too... I received (and have since deleted) an email forward that was night photog. in Alaska of the aurora...it was spectacular stuff!..
