Thanks all, the circular - and very empty - bed behind Sophie and Beano is waiting for some rose bushes I ordered. Not sure what to do with the pampas grass in the middle. Not a success really.

Thank you Janie. Lots to do still, I've only been here a year but, like you, love being outside.
I am also a 'Nana', to one grandson who was here for a couple of days this week. I thought digging might appeal to him - oh no, computers are us!

Much better Fran, I'll try to find a recent picture. Sorry not to reply earlier but just got a new computer a couple of weeks ago, my last one having given up the ghost many months ago.

oh, I know the feeling! no probs about delayed responses, I'm the last one to be able to throw stones!

Only 5 months after your question Fran I am hoping to send an up to date pic of the arch and path! I am seriously challenged when it comes to computers.

will look foraward to seeing it, but no rush, don't break your neck!
