I always think they look like tissue as well Janey , I knew someone once who made flowers from tissue and they looked just like that !

I can imagine that Amy, they do have an artificial sort of look to them, but so many petals!

Bianca finds plenty but the little ranunculae is always just gone one day.

This pic was from cut flowers. I wonder if you could grow some in a pot to overwinter inside?

The botanical garden tried it, and poof, gone when they went out next morning. I haven't tried since. Maybe inside all the time? :-)
