Primula denticulata

The Drumstick primula. This naturaly occurs in damp mountain regions from Afghanistan to Tibet. In the garden it prefers moist, humus rich soil in partial shade.

I've just bought some in pinks and purples and can't wait to get them into their new home. Do they spread as much as the more common primulas?
