A closer look at a flower from Helleborus "Sun Marble". Pic taken 3-24-09. The netting blew off of it over winter some time and the deer ate most of its leaves. Darn. Not many blooms this spring.

Any more trouble with the feral dogs after the deer? I've lost some favourite tulips to the rabbits...but I don't care. love the pic of the fawn, too! nice to see you're adding some pics. Hurrah for spring! These are lovely flowers...and that is a great photo!

Thanks everyone. Thistle, nothing wrong with that.

Lori, no feral dog problem that I know of. We had a little terrier mix roaming the neighborhood for a week, but that's all I"ve seen. There is at least one turkey hen nesting very closely because she comes in several times a day to eat. That's a good sign. I should be seeing fawns soon !
