Have been planning to make this spot in the courtyard an area full of potted plants - so far I've set up the 'bare bones' and will be adding onto it. Will be adding pots of colour in the spring and summer, and pots of foliage plants in the winter.

Love your windows and hanging baskets !

Hi Teratoonie - thanks for your comments - this spot gets morning sun only, so will be perfect for the annuals that I've got started in the greenhouse (as the midday sun here in spring and summer would just dry out the pots very, very quickly).

Bonkersbon - thanks for your comments - those are my kitchen windows which give a great view of the courtyard. The hanging baskets are just planted with streptocarpus caulescens - my 'nodding violet' (which is just starting to flower again) - it's such an easy plant to grow.

Beautiful growing area! The plants look very healthy there.

Looks great. Adding a gazing ball will make a great focal point in your spot.
