The Nausori Highlands - on the Western side of the island

Took a ride to the interior of the Western side of the island which has a much dryer and hotter climate. Most of this area is covered with sugar cane plantations which was once the number one export of Fiji. A very scenic view as we drove along for 5 hours!

Lovely scene. Such a fascinating thing about the south pacific islands. The wet and dry sides.
