Not oblivious Bonkers. He new I was there and he was just showing his contemp. More typical of the female of the species, but seems that it is spreading to males now.

I lopve them all to. Shame they don't love me.

Where are you boxes positioned Toto?

They are all at, about 20ft. up. Two of the three compartment ones and the single one are on a north facing wall and one of the three compartment ones is on a west facing wall. All the three compartment ones have been occupied every year for a few years now as were the single ones which were replaced by them. The single one on the north facing wall was only put up in early November last year.

Not yet Dawn...just the blackbirds busy building nests and also a pair of bluetits,like Toto !

Toto: I think your sparrows are very lucky to have such a choice of nest boxes that you have provided :-) Do you think the birds are late nesting this year BB due to the cold weather? I havent noticed any nest building here yet :-(

Like I said, I'm still hopeful.
