This Penstemon is part of the Volcano seris - which are great for smaller gardens as they only grow to about 60cm high.

Welcome to GoY
Enjoy :o)
This is a wonderful Penstemon and well-photographed.
Do you take cuttings of this one, to make sure it survives the winter ?

I have only had this Penstemon since June 08 so this was it's first winter, I didn't know I should have taken cuttings. Though it seems to have survived - even though it got snowed on twice. I will be taking cuttings this year though - when is the best time to do this I do this?
