Thanks everyone.
No, Tt the seeds came free with a magazine last year(Amateur Gardening I think) i haven't grown Walllflowers for a few years but will collect the seeds if I like these ones. They are a dwarf variety (not had before) I think Wallflowerts seem to be considered old fashioned these days but I like them. I always remember an old gent (he seemed old to me) who lived three doors away from me when I was little and he always had them every year and I remember liking them when I used to stand and have my little chats with him(Mr Gundy, as I recall!)
Thanks Jacque, yes it's my front garden. I put this bed and birdbath in Autumn 2007.
Yes, great (old fashioned) smell Sandra. I noticed, today my Clematis Armandii is really giving off wonderful scent at the moment as well. Lovely.Spring's really here. A gorgeous day here today and Monday!

Wallflowers give colour when some of the spring plants have finished flowering. If you have spare of the mini variety seeds, Paul, I would be pleased to have a few. Thanks.

Yes, no problem Tt. Nearly half the wallflowers are in bloom now, so I'll post another pic in a few days. I must say, I still like them!

Thanks, Sanbaz. I only made this bed autumn 2007 with Lavender in a circle around Bird bath and I change the outer planting for the season. You can see the wallflowers in bloom at the moment in my latest blog. I have some Ageratum to replace the wallflowers for the summer.

Love what you have done with your birdbath. I planted puple palace huchera around my birdbath and than planted chartruse creeping Jenny around that. Came out pretty good but I think I might like yours better. Look on my site to see.

I had a look in your pic's but couldn't see your birdbath and Heuchera! I'll keep looking.
In the summer I have summer bedding instead of the wallflowers. Geraniums last summer but it's so hot in that spot(south facing) that even they weren't very good so I'll have to use somethging else next summer!!
