Yes - fully hardy. 'Mum' has been outside for quite a few years and has been devided up so now I've got two clumps :-) Books always say this plant wants water retentive soil and partial shade. Well, I've got dry soil and still the one clump in full sun seems to do just as well or even better than the one is part shade. I'm sure it'll be ok wherever you put it!!
