In urgent need of tlc

I wisited a local garden centre today. I can't resist going to their bargain section and was dismayed to find a large number of expensive Camellia plants there, fallen over, bone dry and dead/dying. They were reduced from £14 to £7. Still far too expensive for me to risk buying as they looked so far gone. They also had a large number of smaller camellias reduced to half price, £4.99, and I thought this one looked OK. It is Camellia Nagasaki and has white/pink flowers. I will put it in a pot to start with and see how it goes.

I can't understand why they just leave plants to die. I see it around here too. It's terrible. You had a good bargain though.

It will do well, Gee, with your t.l.c.
Yes, Hywel, it is depressing when you see neglected plants in garden centres and stores.... fallen over, unwatered.... :o(

Why do they do that , I don,t understand it , they are in the business to sell plants .. I think they rely on some people not knowing enough about gardening .
It will thrive with your care Gee , it,s looks to be a pretty one ;o)
