Is this the flower that my mother used to call 'Love lies Bleeding'? Quite surreal and very eye-catching. Lovely photo Spritz.

my love lies bleeding is a long catkin affair i thik its called amaranthus? The 'prudish' victorians gave it this common name.
dicentra is also known as ladies in the bath & dutchman's breeches too.
