This home has unusual trees. A favorite of mine the big green ponderosa, doing very well on the left and siberian larch bare for winter on the right. I love this patch of evergreen, we have only spruce and more spruce as natives. And of course, the ever present birch.

I will be going crazy once the air smells of water and earth. Still two months before safe planting. I cold frame so sooner for me. We have very clean air though there is inversion over the city so it a brown smudge each morning. Can't wait for that to clear up. Collected from a long dark cold winter. I remember visiting the states a few years ago after a long time just here, I had to ask what the dark drifting clouds were. I'd forgotten.

Lovely blue sky, you can almost smell the air bet its clean air too! I live in a town that produces steel so you can imagine the air is not as clean as yours although things have improved a lot in the past 30 years.
