Good shot across the garden. I love the bright colors with the bare branch hillside behind. Definately spring.

Wow Flcrazy, i didnt realise how big your garden was, and Hello again :) I was wondering where you were..

Thanks everyone, I've bitten off more than I can chew again....lol. I been adding amendments to the yard and mulching, starting up my parents small greenhouse, landscaping a co-wprlker's yard and my husband and I have been laying flooring....phew ! Haven't had much time to get on line. Barely had time to answer remarks to my posts and private messages. We finished the flooring two days ago and I finished lanndscaping job today, so hope to have more time now to catch up on everyone's posts...lol. I know, fat chance of being able to do that....;-).

LOL...., good one Bonkers ! I only garden about an acre and it's getting to be quite a task for me the older I get. I'm not complaining..., it just takes me twice as long to do the same job it did ten years ago....;-). I'm just glad I'm still able to do it at all...lol

Mine is two-thirds of an acre - I couldn't handle any more! It is very satisfying, though, isn't it!

Yes Spritzhenery it is ! Speaking of gardens, how was you first showing ? I hope you had a wonderful experience ! I know everyone left with a great feeling of satisfaction, because your gardens are so lovely.

I think I could take on a bigger garden, finding ours too small now. Yours would suit me fine.

Yes Dottydaisy, luckily for me my dad owns all the land around me and he doesn't mind my piddling with it. I don't know what I would do if I ever ran out of room. I know I bellyache at times about tending to a garden this size, but it must not bother me too much, because I seem to buy more plants every time I leave the house...lol. Have you ever considered starting over somewhere else that has more garden space Dotty ?

Our dates for opening the garden are 4th and 11th June - so it's coming up fast, now! 4 weeks to go...

Spritz good luck with your opening, my brother is opening for the first time as well.
Flcrazy we are too long in the tooth now to do that, we used to farm over 30 acres with my Father, many years ago.

Best of luck to both of your garden openings Spritzhenry and to your brother Dottydaisy, may they be a roaring success !
I know what you mean Dottydaisy, there's no way I could walk away and start over now either. Too many memories are tied up in this place ....:-)
