Lots of lovely plants Elke....

When we renovated this house we made sure to include lots of big windows on the east, south and west walls. Apart from our indoor gardening, it makes a huge difference in our heating bills, with all that passive solar energy. In winter the angle of the sun is lower, and that helps even more.

Those windows really pay off in all sorts of ways.
