This is a organnic mushroom block that i got from Ardnamushrooms. They have had good flushes of shrooms and hope they will keep on doing so for around a year. i am pleased with the result as they are very easy to look after. happy daze :)

I've seen people do this sort of thing with old books. Where they have added mushroom spores and away it goes.

They are shiitake shrooms. I have tried before with spores but with no succcess, but not with books. Sounds interesting. :)

Are these Shiitakes? Jeff uses the dried ones and rehydrates them and uses them in various ways.
