Love these rain lillies - they pop up in gardens over here as well. I've got a few of these as well, but they're not flowering right now.

You're welcome Panther - their botanic name is Zepheranthes grandiflora (that's the pink ones). We call them rain lilies here because they have a tendancy to bust into flower after rain. They also come in rose, yellow and white - if the bulbs are left alone they will develop into large clumps and will make a great display.

Yes Bernieh I have seen them in other colours as well, it is lovely when used as borders too. We have been having lots of rain lately which explains why the pretty little burst of flowers.

All is well thanks Marguerite, we have gotten quiet used to what is happening, everything is normal at the moment and just hope we don't lose internet...as long as Grows On You doesn't get interrupted I won't complain....LOL
