Thanks, Jacque, never thought of it being a young dove. I thought it was having a spring moult! Come to think of it I have two plump doves visit and now two scruffy ones (like the one on the post). I suppose they are a family :) I know they always nest in a conifer in the garden opposite me.

U can see its a Baby Gee by its longer beak & its Feather look so fluffy :)

Great, Jacque, so now I have two baby collared doves and an unknown quantity of baby blackbirds. Just about to post a couple of photos of what I think are Freaky's off-spring :)
