Philodendron 'Evansii'

This is another tree-type Philodendron growing at the bottom of Palm Canyon. Photo taken April 9, 2009.

This is what I meant in the other P. 'Evansii' photo comment. They will cling and attach to anything. It looks like it would be easy to remove the roots, however, they are hard and strong like rope.
This plant is also bigger than it appears in the photo...the leaves themselves are almost 6 feet / 2 meters long and I have seen them even larger.

They can grow up to over 30 feet/ 10 meters when grown on a tall tree.
And yes, their leaves are enormous. I will take a photo of me in front of one to show scale next time.
