I planted three new ferns round my new sculpture.

Sure it will look great alongside your lovely Griffin ..so hardy have one of those Japanese painted ferns also and they all survived the snow and frost.
From Yorkshire with a name like that ? Mind you a lady called Christa presents our local news ..

Doubt it but she s lovely - its Ok Jane agrees she works with a lot of men so would probably agree that she s often kept in the dark and fed ....

I moved one of the Woodwardia today - I found a place with no root, thank goodness, so they are welcome to grow...and grow...
