Perhaps try a nursery Dawn often their specimens been out a while - rather than shipped in for the summer . Pretty chilly here today so in long before 8 ..

Ours was from a local nursery BB, family run business so I have my fingers and toes crossed. These commercial nurseries make me laugh, you see plants in flower weeks ahead of the norm,

Well done Dawn - these independent nurseries always worth supporting often better value , they have nutured the plants themselves rather than bulk purchased so having done all the right things think it owes you a few flowers dont you ? lol

I hope I get flowers BB. This nursery is surrounded by all different types of conifer that they have grown and the greenhouses are full of bedding plants and they are always happy to give sound advice and they're prices are realistic but people still seem drawn to the 'artificial' nurseries.

Think gardeners use nurseries Dawn as can sift through knowing what they are looking for . Garden centres often used by those a little less sure but reassured by the apparent quality despite the price .

Oh right, you mean, more money than sense, lol lol, no offence intended to anyone ;-)
