I use Ajuga reptans as a ground cover on a shady places.

This is pretty. I have a little of it in my front garden but the darker version seems to spread more quickly.

I got one of these from B&Q too ;-) In fact, I also got the purply one from there too. This one I've found more attractive to slugs than the purple one and less vigorous.

No, I got them separately on different days - off the reduced stand - can't remember how much they cost - only about 50p I think :-) The purple one has performed marvellously. B-Glow I'm hoping will put on more growth this summer.
