unfortunately Newfie all of this used to be bluebells!I's a real thug and crowds everything else out!

~this is the local bluebell wood very close to the house which is rapidly turning into the garlic wood~wild garlic is very invasive and the devil to get rid of unfortunately~looks nice en masse but I'm thinking of writing to the trust to ask whether I can to anything to promote the bluebells whilst we still have some!

we have a problem with galic in the woods around here too. it does look lovely but its not helping the bluebell problem. its overtaken the side of a road and i love clipping the edge to get the smell..

i read about the problem with the spanish bluebells taking over ours. it being attacked on all frounts.;-((

probably escaped from somewhere. we have huge alexanders marching across our roadsides wipping out all that was there. it would take an army to clear it.
