The Alyssum has enjoyed the sunshine too!

This reminds me of when I first started gardening. I planted loads of this along the front of my borders....thinking it was the white Alyssum used for edging! It looked lovely but swamped everything else!

Not exactly the right place for this one, Pg!!!
Gee, I grew more plants from seed two years ago - they germinated so well I was giving them away!

That a ray of sunshine on it's own.

Thanks, Wagger - when the first flush of flowers fade, I give it a haircut with shears and it flowers again...and again...until late autumn! Great plants. :-)

Hi! I've been admiring walls covered in bright yellow and purple trailing flowers for years now. I think the purple is Aubretia and the yellow is Alyssum Saxatile. Looking at your picture I think it might be the right one. I see the photo was taken in April so fingers crossed I've found it at last! Did you grow yours from seed? And does it trail over a stone wall? I can see some stone in the photo :-)
