HI, Welcome to GoY
Sorry I missed this photo on the day you added it.
He's a good little helper. What's his name ?

Hywel he is the best friend in the world he will lay in the garden with me all day as well as coming to work with me. When we go for walks along the Bristol Channel he steals the mackerell from the fishmen. Most of the locals know him and hide their fish if they see him coming or tell him in industrial language where to go. I called him Chas, having been a Chelsea supporter for years and a big admirer of a player named Charlie Cook the name Chas came about. I could not see me walking the dog calling Charlie Cook come here, but Chas come here is about right. Thanks for the welcome will be looking at more of your photo's they are fabulous.

He's smashing and a great companion by the sound of it. Our Paddy(terrier) loves to soak up the sun as well! I suppose if you have a cat he's called Bonetti ! ( 'The Cat, get it??)

Ha Ha. I won't make any comment on said Mr Harris. Hope they do well tonight against Barcelona, although it will be very tough to beat them.

Welcome to GOY Brinleym ... I had to dash straight here to look at your lovely chas photo,s because he looked so much like our faithful old dog Barney ... no longer with us ... he was our best friend to , he understood everything we said to him , and got up to some funny tricks that made people laugh , your chas has the same colouring .. I hope you have him for many more happy years :o)

Thanks Amy we saw Chas when he was only 2 hours old and as soon as he could leave his mum he was ours, I spent the first two nights sleeping on the kitchen floor with him and from then on we have been the best of friends and inseperable. He is 14 now and starting to get a bit like me tired more easily, over weight and going grey but we all still love him so much, Christine thinks I love him more than her, I can tell from your comments that you have some great memorys of Barney and in many ways he is still with you in your thoughts and your hearts, that was a true friend who I an sure was so very happy with the good life you gave him.

Thanks Tasteyq we won't be doing much more this year but have plans for next year. Spar the wall, fit some trellis or frame to train some small fruit trees, more containers with plants to add colour and we are willing to listen to any good idears so get your thinking cap on please.
