Iceland Poppy

Iceland Poppy (Papaver nudicaule (Arctic Poppy))

This poppy is very easy to grow without any care, and come out every year. Sole care is to thin out unhealthy seedlings.

This is pretty.
Do you grow your poppy seedlings in seed compost ?

Hi Terratoonie, No, i scattered seeds directly to ground in half inch depth only at first, 4 years ago, but after that naturally scattered seeds grew around. Sorry, i'm poor at practical english. I got first the meaning of 'seed compost' by your Q. Thanks for your question. They sell seed compost in Jap. but we seldom buy it, I have never.
