A realy good photo Tina. I don't know what it is but the shape of the headand what you say may be the eye suggests to me that it may be one of the skippers.

Thanks for your comments everyone.Toto,I have tried to Google for Skipper and they look darker in colour.I will have to have a look through my butterfly books to see if i can find out what it is.It was a yellow colour on the top and I thought of a small cabbage white but I am not sure of the eye colouring of those...
