Purple Sand Cherry - Surprise

I have two of these bushes which I bought and planted at the end of August last year. They grow to about four feet at maturity. I bought them for the deep purple brown shade to contrast with other bushes. Guess I wasnt paying attention as they were in full bloom when I came out into the garden this morning. I had no idea that they bloom. A very pleasant surprise.
