Glass Ball with Roses

New Dawn Pink climbing roses, atop blue glass ball, hanging at the front window. Sad to say, the ball is now broken, smashed to bits when the plastic hanger gave out in the heat, and the ball fell to the cement pathway below. Told my DH this would happen, LOL, but he said "no way". The climbing rose is also gone. It got aphids badly after some rain and never recovered.

thanks for the kind thoughts, Tina2. One of these days we must try to find a duplicate glass ball. We do have 2 others, but they are nowhere near as nicely coloured as this one was. And losing the rose was a shock, as had thought it was not susceptible to that. Am also very fond of anything blue, especially in the garden, and in glass.

Good thing you captured them both forever :)

that's true, - that's the great thing about photos. I like to view the lovely flowers on the computer when it's in the dead of winter and the garden is sleeping here. Gives a person hope for the following spring, right.

Sorry to hear the sad demise of both New Dawn and the glass bowl.I like the bowl because blue is my favourite colour and I have New Dawn myself so know what a fabulous rose it is.Sorry that you lost both of them....
