Our Bit of Heaven on Earth, sunken patio area years ago

this is our sunken front patio area with the little lily pond. Before the days of digital cameras. The goose boy fountain can be seen, this is where the hummingbirds like to dance in the fountain spray in some of my other images. Just to give you an idea of the general layout. A few changes since this was captured

thankyou Mageth and Pansypotter. Most of the plants we grow now are perennials in the actual borders, - we have the annuals in planters, hanging baskets etc.
It's hard to see in this image, but there's an upper border and lower planting area. DH made a different waterway leading to the lily pond a couple years ago too, and it's nicer.

Problem is, that it doesn't really photograph well, all in one image, so I might have to send pics in "in parts", as I doubt if any of my lenses would capture the entire image.
