Hubby has been promising for years to finish cementing the wall - one day it will happen!!!

This is looking great anyway - despite the wall being unfinished. Looks wonderful with all the pots filled.

Thanks Bernieh - I was hoping he'd do it ages ago, as that Jasmine behind the door is growing so much, that whenever he does decide to do the job, it'll be a problem to unhitch it off the wall !!

I agree, with Bernieh, looks great as it is. Much more appealing than vinyl siding, and even wood.

The ideas was, Newfienurse, that he'd hack away all the old crumbling cement and then fill in the gaps around the rocks with an ochre coloured new cement mix - a procedure a bit like our pointing bricks in UK - but like you say, I can certainly live with it the way it is ..... !!!!
