This is growing in the wettest part of my front garden but seems to be doing well although I have never seen any flowers. When I looked on Google it says that epimediums like dry conditions so perhaps I have got the name wrong!

Just checked out yours,Amy, and as soon as I saw it again, I remembered it!! No flowers on mine - perhaps that is because it is too wet but the leaves are lovely with lots of new growth. Problem now - should I leave well alone or move it?

I would leave it if it,s happy and healthy Gee , the flowers don,t last long , I think the leaves are the nicest part ...
Perhaps it can be split -up another year and then you can try a piece in a dryer spot :o)
I,ve had a look in my book Gee , it says you can divide the clumps in spring , I think that is the thing to do next year if it,s a young plant :o)

Thanks for that info, Amy. I 've had another look at it and it certainly has lots of new growth so I will do as you suggest and leave it for this year and divide next Spring.

How long have you had it Gee19 ? Mine didn't bloom until the 4th year. Mine is in soil that stays moist constantly so I think that you have it in a good spot. You are going to love the flowers. I like the way they bloom under the leaves near the ground. I have a photo of mine in bloom in my photos.

Hi Mike, mine has only been in a couple of years so there's hope! I've checked out the flowers so know what to look next year. Fingers crossed.
