mm i think so Spritz, i'll do some cuttings when they get bigger - do you reconise the variety at all - my first thought was 'Doris' but there is far too much burgandy on them i think....any thoughts?

Not Doris, no. I have her. No idea...there are SOOOOO many new hybrids being created!

thats what i thought, i have Doris too, and Grans Favorite, which are the two that i know that i closest but not either of them is it. - it's lovely though is'nt. maybe it's a new one, i got it at the same GC that i got the Coprosma and varigated lily turf that i sent you, they do get some good stuff and they were'nt as cheap as pinks usually are, not hugely expensive, but more than you'd expect, and things are very reasonable at this GC which makes me think it could be new, i can't find it in my books. will proberly be a good one for Ebay i think.

I had 9 tiny plug plants sent to me as freebies with an order. They are called things like 'Raspberry Ripple' and 'Cranberry something or other' and 'Strawberry something else'...the descriptions are a bit like these lovelies - I'll read the labels better tomorrow. It's too dark to go across to the greenhouse tonight!

Thanks Spritz would be good to know the name, you never know, it is'nt one i have seen before, and pinks are one of my fetishes ....one of the many lol

Not helpful, Angie - my freebies appear to be single or semi-double ones, not a bit like yours. They are only plugs at the moment, so it'll be next year before I get to see the flowers, I guess.
