I was quite surprised to see the color of these. They have been treated with a chemical by the company to keep them more viable.

Honestly, it's a mild fungicide called Thiram...look it up..
IT's a company called Stokes..WEll known company for seed purchase.
We'll see how they do..I also bought many more seeds from them, including sunflower seeds without the same chemical applied, so I'm not sure what that is about...
