Actually, they are winter ones - I had some last year as well and they flower from November on and on! They also seed themselves... the flowers are a lot smaller than the normal Calendula.

Me too. I didn't know either.

It's that little nursery again - I will try to ask her what they are called.

I wonder if you can get seeds. Will publish the name if you do find out please Spritz.

Yes - I'm intending to pay her a visit today for some 'pick-me-ups' for my containers.

An expensive day ahead then.

No - she sells plants at 'silly money'...she likes doing it. E.g. a fuchsia or Pelargonium for £1 each, a tray of 6 petunias etc for £1.50. Even her (limited) shrubs/Clematis are no more than £4.50 max.
You have to be quick off the mark, though, as she can run out!

Sounds good but wouldn't be worth a trip to West Summerset though, not with cost of petrol the way it is.

Oh. Shame. You could have popped in here for a cup of tea and some cake! It's free to visit at the moment...

The Calendula are called 'C. Winter Sun'. She doesn't think that seeds are available to the public - so I shall try to collect some, and also google them!!

Tea and cake sound like a good reason to visit Spritz but petrol is still expensive and it's a long way from here.
