Thanks TT, this is very easy to take cutting. using vines grown in previous year and potting it in the year, flowers come out next year.

Can you take cuttings in summer and autumn, or must you do it in springtime ?

In case of this clematis, i take cuttings in late spring to early summer, for i'd like to see flowers in next spring, and of other variety, do it by late summer to complete potting and repotting till the end of autumn.
