Crumbs!...that is one fabulous geranium! Does it grow like that Louis or have you supported the flowers? Welcome to GoY too!

I grow this Louis, they can grow like weeds here. Especially on the Isle of Scilly. I did have a white one, not sure if I've lost it this last winter. PamD

Janey, the geranium grows like that. I don't need to support the flowers.

This so gorgeous!!!!!!! I had one of these about 6 years ago and it died... your photo is making me a little sad at what I'm missing out on :( I've been looking for this, but it's not very common around here. Boo-hoo!

My one have set seeds, so will not last much longer, but noticed two tiny seedlings on the same pot. Re-potted them separate and seems to be doing well....Keeping my fingers crossed !!!!

i just love how they grow. the stems look somewhat prehistoric and the flowers last for ages...i think ill cross my fingers for mine too...

Yes, I see what you mean, very interesting. I am going to put my ones in the greenhouse and give them loads of TLC......

same here..but i do have one left from last year which should flower next year. i think they are awesome.

They take about three years to flower, so one has to be quite patient !!

i think that adds to the excitemant. my echiums are like that too. i have loads of new seedlings which hopefully will get through the winter.

Now....echiums are one of my favourites..... Talking about taking long to flower, I have had a visicularia bicolour, for about three or four years, and it just started to show the colours....the blades of grass are turning vivid red, but would like to see the core in it's full colours..... Just reminded me, I will take a picture of this plant as it is, at this moment in time......
