Thanks Janey , I have been growing mine for about 2 yrs. so i,m very excited that something is happening at last , Dawn has started one as well so I think we have a bit of a competition to see who,s does what first Lol ....

This is great Amy. I think you are going to win the competition though, lol. Mine doesn't have shoots like yours but little suckers attaching it to the branch - must take a photo. The suckers are bright green like your shoots though. Thanks for showing me.

It won,t be long Dawn .. mine only had little green suckers in the spring :o)

Amy!!!! Mine look like this. Thought they were dead but saw 3 at the weekend with green tiny leaves. I am delighted.

Haha Amy, you know what Im feeling. Great isnt it, Ive emailed you a pic, shud get one on here too really. What are yours up to - do you have lots of leaves now.

I'll be going to have a look soon , mine are beginning to look like little bunches with a few leaves I even thought I could see some bobbles in the middle which I kidded myself were Mistletoe berries I'm sure they can't be probably new growth ... :o) be careful if you have Bullfinches about ! they like to have a go at them when they are new buds !

The bullfinches got yours last year didnt they, we still have the nets over. My book says if they do get pecked not to worry as they will come back. I hope you do have the start of berries :). Little bunchs hey, how exciting

Funny you should say that Dawn because the one they pecked off has started to come back there's a nice little new piece showing .. :o)

I suppose once they are rooted into the tree they can re-grow.
