Nice pic Newfie.
I have actually left two after the birds have so kindly sown them for me Arlene. It will be interesting to see which ones they are.

thanks, toto.
how tall are they PP? they can get fairly high before developing a head.
Give them a chance.
This is a Kong Sunflower. Can get very high, but with the cool temps here they rarely do.

Some of mine are about 2 feet tall, I've got them in pots in my shed at the moment. The slightest wind will snap them and those pesky slugs and snails are on the warpath looking for something to munch on as it's been a bit wet here today. There's a line of snails along the top of the fence tonight....hope they're heading for neighbours garden, not mine!

P.S - I've also got one that's about 6" tall, called Little Leo and his flower is already out - bright yellow and open wide. Very pretty.

Neat shot, I rather like when they can't shake it. I eventually give them a little nudge. :-)

Good pic Newfie~ I am finding them everywhere because the birds drop them~maybe I should grow a few instead of throwing them!
