It's a centipede Newfie. These are no problem to anyone as they tend to hide away during the day, but come out at night to hunt for small invertebrates.

They freak me out. It moves so fast I had to put it in some water to get a shot. I did release it without harming it.

How creepy. Glad most are small. Where they get big, they sting. I haven't seen them here. We lack in the crawly category.
