Very difficult to paint or photograph black coated animals..
Even the professional dog photographers find this a challenge ~ e.g. black poodles, black labradors ~

Yes they are bit hard on the eyes to do. I was taught not use black
most of it is Paynes grey which has blue in it.

Oh how i wish i could draw and paint! There are some talented artists on here and you are another one, its lovely

I think this painting shows the dogs character and is lovely. I'm sure the owner loved it.
